Eliminate Allergies

ELIMINATE ALLERGIES

Think About It - What Is an Allergy?

An allergic reaction happens when a person's immune system tries to defend the body against a substance that, in reality, is not harmful. For example, billions of people worldwide are exposed to pollen, yet only a small percentage have allergic reactions. The same can be said for pet dander, mold, wheat, and hundreds other substances.

Using body-mind techniques, it is possible to change people's relationships to the substances that trigger such reactions. In short, we teach the immune system that pollen, for example, is as harmless as something similar to pollen but to which the individual's immune system does not react (e.g., dust or cologne).

Studies have shown that NLP processes can help re-train the immune system and eliminate allergies. As reported in NLP University's website (www.nlpu.com):

"In a study done in Salt Lake City (Hallbom & Smith, 1987), for example, thirty two individuals were guided through the allergy pattern for a multitude of allergies, including pollen, smoke and foods. They even treated a person who was sensitive to poison oak, which is a kind of an allergy. Out of the thirty people, all but three showed immediate reduction of their symptoms. Most of the people in the study, in fact, showed a complete suppression of the allergic reaction immediately after learning the process. A six month follow up revealed that only three of the individuals who had responded positively had any recurrence of their allergies."

In other words, 24 out of 30 people responded successfully to gentle NLP change work and were still symptom-free six months later (80%). In my own un-controlled, un-scientific study, 12 out of 14 people said "goodbye" to their allergies; 1 of them subsequently relapsed, but 11 out of 14 continue to be allergy-free (just under 80%).
