  • Experienced - 4200 hours total time, 2400 hours dual given.
  • Not a time builder - I let go of my airline aspirations long ago. Now I fly because I love it, and I love to share the joys of aviation with my students.
  • Fun first - Slipping the surly bonds of earth is a fun, fascinating and joyful experience.
  • Safety - I emphasize emergency procedures more than most instructors. I want my students to be ready for anything.
  • Airplane types - experienced in all the popular models from the following manufacturers: Cessna, Piper, Mooney, Grumman American, and more.
  • Aircraft owner - I have owned and operated the following airplanes: Cessna 150 and 172, Piper Cherokee 140, Piper Apache (twin engine), and three homebuilt airplanes (Thorp T-18, Van's RV-4 and Christen Eagle aerobatic biplane).
  • Airports - I instruct out of Twin Oaks Airpark (7S3), happy to consider flying from other nearby airports.
  • Ratings, certificates, and endorsements: private pilot, instrument rating, commercial certificate, flight instructor and instrument instructor, plus high performance, complex, and tailwheel endorsements.
  • Call or email today with your questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
